Quick Start Guide

Whether you’re just getting started or already an established business, selling your first meal with KitchenFuel is a quick and easy process.

So you’re ready to sell meals online. You’re not the first and you won’t be the last, so let’s make sure that you’re learning from the best and not starting from scratch here. There are a ton of key elements to running a successful business, but in this article we’ll focus on the mandatory elements

We’ll break it up into 3 main categories:

  • Business Settings – How to get paid.
  • Menu Management – What meals you’re going to sell.
  • Marketing – How customers are going to find you.

While this is obviously not a comprehensive list, we’ve got a team of specialists to help you scale your business to new heights with the right expertise in selling subscription based meals online.

Business Settings

First, the basics. You need to get paid and have the right taxes and delivery details set up.

To configure your payment provider, go to Settings –> Payments

Next, go to Settings –> Taxes.

Finally, because you will be delivering your meals, set up your different delivery fees at Settings –> Shipping.

Menu Management

Start creating your database of meals using the Meal Info tab.

But wait, what categories are you going to be selling? Customers can find different meals through creating different Categories, Tags and Allergies to sort between their desired preferences.

Set up your menu by choosing which meals will be available each week. Go to Products and create your first slot.

Marketing

Set up your first head to Marketing –> Coupons to showcase subscription or delivery discounts to encourage more sales.

Connect your Instagram Feed to bring your brand to life online through all the hard work you do in the kitchen making those tasty looking meals.

To recap, the bare minimum things you need to set up to launch are to:

  1. Configure Business Settings
  2. Create your Menu
  3. Let Customers Find You
